Ecolodge is located in Pathoumphone District, Champasak province 60 km south of Pakse town on the way to 4.000 Islands area and close to road no. 18A (direction to Attapeu province) which is planned to be paved in the near future. The lodge is situated very close to Khiet Ngong village (now a well known tourist site because of the elephant population) and Xe Pian national protected area on a 7 Hectares property leased directly from the Lao government with a 20 years lease contract (starting 2005) and an agreement option for a lease up to 50 years, cost of the lease is currently below 400US$ a year.

The compound buildings consist of:

1) 7 comfort bungalows (7 buildings)

2) 4 eco rooms (2 buildings + bathrooms building)

3) 1 kitchen building (including small store and restaurant toilets)

4) 1 two storey restaurant/reception with external platform

5) 1 big store for general purposes

6) 1 management house of 2 bedroom with toilets and 1 living room (eventually could be transformed in a family cabin) including a store under the house

7) 1 staff dormitory (4 rooms) with toilets and shower

8) 1 water tower

9) 1 small food store (for raw rice or others)

10) 1 small building for electricity diesel generator engine (10 kW max).

Vehicles: – 1 Hyundai Porter truck – 1 Hyundai Starex van (market value on purchase date $ 11,500.00, bought at $ 6,000.00) – 1 Honda wave 100 motorcycle – 6 mountain bikes
