This is a well-established and successful 3 star resort with 9 bungalows on 68.000 square meters (6.8 hectares) property in the fastest growing recreational area on the suburbs of the UNESCO heritage.
The eco-friendly Hillside Lodge is idyllically nestled in Laotian mountains. It’s a nature retreat only 12 km from Luang Prabang, surrounded by protected area with primary forest, and yet escaping the city’s hustle and bustle. The ride takes around 30 min from the city centre of Luang Prabang, 7km on dirt roads. Recently road construction started and after completion of a paved road (approx. by 2025) the expected driving time will reduce to 15min.
Accommodation
The resort consists of 9 bungalows spread out on a small hill, with views over the lush tropical garden and primary forested mountains. Every bungalow comes with its own balcony, panoramic glass window front and en-suite bathroom.

A 30min walk from Hillside through the valley will take travellers to Tad Thong waterfall and only few people know of this site.

Hillside has tied up with Nahm Dong park, a 15min walk away. The park is an ultimate place for quality time, to which we are intimately connected with. There is some waterfalls, a sensory garden, a view point café, a restaurant and bar. There is also a tree top walk, some zip-lines and several workshops
III. Easy to get to
Another project we have tied up with is The Luang Prabang Wildlife Sanctuary. It has enclosures and facilities for many endangered wildlife species they’ve rescued including macaques, leopard cats, tortoises, birds, civets, and even endangered red pandas.
