Guizhou Makes First Direct Export of New Energy Buses to Laos via China-Laos Railway

Guizhou Province has marked a significant milestone in its export endeavors. On October 28th, a train carrying 28 electric buses departed from Dulaying International Land-Sea Logistics Port in Guiyang, bound for Vientiane, Laos. This inaugural direct export leverages the efficient China-Laos Railway, offering a dedicated route for Guizhou’s automotive industry to expand its market reach.

The shipment is part of a larger initiative to export a total of 55 electric buses to Laos in two batches. The second batch of 27 buses is scheduled to depart on Tuesday. These advanced electric buses, equipped with intelligent control systems, promise zero emissions, low noise, and smooth operation. They will be integrated into Vientiane’s new rapid transit system, contributing to the city’s modernization and sustainability goals.

By utilizing the China-Laos Railway, Guizhou aims to strengthen its trade ties with Laos and showcase its commitment to sustainable transportation solutions. The efficient logistics and streamlined customs procedures facilitated by this railway have been instrumental in making this export possible.
