The Project Site is located in Savannakhet, the 2nd largest city of Laos, and is designated as Industrial Complex at present. This area is composed of 3 zones: SITE A; SITE B; and Densavanh Free Trade District. Among them, SITE A zone is designated as Special Economic Zone, which is adjacent to The 2nd Mekong Bridge. SITE B is SENO Special Economic Zone, which is about 6 km away from site of The Company.
All factories within about 29km along the Road No. 9 running from Savannakhet to Seno are designated as the same zone by SSEZ Division of Ministry of Industry when applied, and are to get the same benefits.
Highlights of Site
1. Electricity
The Distribution Line running beside Road No. 13 gives no problem in incoming lines.
2. Water
Complying with the Water & Sewer Environment Law of Laos, STEA (Review on Environmental Impact Assessment) was completed.
3. Road
Currently the site is adjacent to Road No. 9 constructed directly by Japan, which is one of the best roads in Laos. Road No. 13 running south and north of Laos is connected to Road No. 9 at Seno. The condition of the road is so good that machine structures weighed over 200 tons were transported at LXML in the past.

Construction Work
Due to the shortage of man power in construction supervision separately from that of construction management, The Company chose the Turnkey approach: The Company concludes the main contract with Construction Company after finalizing the total construction costs; and it concludes separate contracts for each construction by process according to the estimate by process. With that as the start of construction, the land/timber clearing, site formation, civil engineering work for roads inside the site, civil engineering work for foundation of the factory (ground leveling and land-fill) were all completed for 8 months on March, 31, 2010. The complete report on the strength test of geological features for the safe installation of machines and facilities was also submitted.
