Café Amazon Laos has introduced a new coffee product, Lao Drip Coffee Bolaven, made from local coffee beans grown on the Bolaven Plateau. This product aims to bring the distinctive taste and aroma of Lao coffee to customers who may not have the opportunity to visit Café Amazon stores.

Mr. Peravej Na Ranong, Managing Director of PTT (Lao) Co., Ltd., expressed excitement about the new product, stating that both Lao and foreign customers have shown great interest based on market surveys. The company plans to expand the product’s availability to neighboring countries like Thailand, Cambodia, and the Philippines.

In addition, Lao Drip Coffee Bolaven is crafted from 100% Arabica coffee beans, carefully selected and processed to ensure high quality. Mr. Peravej emphasized the company’s pride in this new product, which showcases the excellence of Lao coffee beans. The decision to create Lao Drip Coffee Bolaven was driven by a desire to promote Lao products regionally and internationally. The company envisions becoming a major supplier of quality Lao coffee beans in the region.

Mr. Chansavang Sikhampheng, Deputy Managing Director, highlighted the extensive efforts made to bring the product to market, including partnering with a coffee bean producer group and implementing stringent quality standards. By offering Lao Drip Coffee Bolaven, the company aims to enhance Laos’ reputation beyond tourism and culture, emphasizing the exceptional quality of its coffee beans, particularly those grown on the Bolaven Plateau. The plateau’s unique volcanic soil and favorable climate contribute to the coffee’s distinctive taste.
